Sex addictiction

Post by Ms Jill on Tue Jul 17, 2012 4:35 am

Confessions of a sex addict: I've lost everything that's dear to me - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I wonder is it just media harping up on female sexual addiction with the recent news of sexual crimes committed by men?

What is the statistics of women having sexual addictions compared to men? There are so many articles of men and their sexual urges, different ways to release, brothels in geylang, sammyboy forum, online porn. What's there for woman. I say the story is featuring the 1% of the women with sexual addiction problems.

But whatever the % of women having these sex problems, women generally have better control of their sexual urges compare to men.

What are the self help avenues for sexual addicts?

Isn't sexual addiction a Form of mental well being problem? like smoking, drugs.

Could it be a form of self abuse? For ex. One who finds a bruise , still rubs harder to enjoy the self inflicted pain and pleasure?

I had a random foursome with 3 men: Sex addict

Media needs to propagate spicy news to boost up readership.

A change of the topic at Asiaone links you to
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Then after the topic, another link to the forum on the topic "PRCs selling sex services online"
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If there is demand, surely shrewd "businessman" would create avenues to publicize their services.

How does the society manage the thin line between sexual needs and sexual addictions?

So it is a need or a want?
